Holiday
Two years of holiday campaign content for T-Mobile, produced with WONGDOODY. Each year brought a new theme, a new set of 3D challenges, and a new suite of deliverables designed to run across retail store monitors nationwide.
The first year was ornaments: a 3D simulation that gave them a life of their own, rolling in and out of frame with a little holiday chaos. The second year was bells, where I stepped into the art director role for the 3D content in addition to handling all design, modeling, texturing, and lighting. Getting the bells to the right place required iterating through hundreds of design and lighting variations before landing on the final look. The animation brief was equally specific: the jingle effect needed to feel joyful and physically convincing, not just decorative.
Across both years, the work had to hold up across a wide range of monitor sizes and formats, built to loop cleanly and live in a retail environment for an entire holiday season.
