Human Centric Retail

Too many companies are focused on building the store of the future. WONGDOODY's argument is that they should be focused on the ever-changing customer instead. Human Centric Retail was a piece designed to communicate that perspective and to showcase the agency's production capabilities.

I served as art director on the project, leading a team of animators while working directly with the creative directors above me. My responsibilities spanned the full scope of the visual system, designing 3D elements, developing each individual style frame, and directing the animation team to execute the vision across the piece. The goal was bold, punchy work that felt aligned with WONGDOODY's brand while making a clear creative argument.

The visual language mirrors the message. The piece opens in grayscale, representing how most companies approach retail, and progressively fills with color as the perspective shifts. The idea is simple: to serve the customer of today, you have to be willing to change along with them.
