Ocean
Working directly with the Seattle Kraken, I developed a suite of 3D visual content for the Atrium at Climate Pledge Arena, the public-facing space that sets the tone for the game-day experience before fans reach their seats.
The centerpiece of the atrium is a large two-screen display where I created an ocean wave tank simulation that pulls the Pacific Northwest environment directly into the arena. Beyond the visual itself, I built the piece as a flexible system. Using UV mapping, the Kraken team can swap content onto the back walls within the anamorphic effect and layer graphics over the glass framing, so they have a template they can adapt for different theme nights throughout the season. On the other side of the atrium, I designed an underwater environment for a four-sided column connecting to a large triangular ceiling display above, pulling the viewer deeper into the deep.
Additional work for the Kraken included in-arena goal celebration animations (headshot sequences that trigger when a player scores), as well as 3D anamorphic content produced for the organization that hasn't been released yet.
